Dan Falcone
Given his first trumpet by Sinatra lead trumpet player Charlie Turner, Dan Falcone began working professionally at age 15. During high school he backed the likes of Tony Bennett, Rita Moreno, Jerry Lewis, George Burns, Andy Williams, Jack Jones, Paul Anka and many other headliners on the Las Vegas Strip.

After attending USC, Dan returned to Las Vegas and was asked to join the Tom Jones Band as the lead trumpet player in 1998. After a two year world tour, during which he was asked to join Maynard Fergusons band but was unable, Dan was asked to join a Ricky Martin Production Storm at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. While playing lead trumpet on this show, Dan was fortunate to befriend Ricky Martins guitar player Jerry Lopez, and a few years later was asked to join Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns, with whom he currently performs.

After Storm, Dan was asked to join Paul Anka full-time and toured for many years playing split-lead and lead trumpet, recording two albums and a DVD with Mr. Anka. He left Paul Anka to play lead trumpet in the Broadway Musical Hairspray. Following that, Dan spent some time touring with Filipino Superstar Martin Nievera as his lead trumpet player. Dan then joined Toni Braxton and player her Revealed show for more than a year before taking the Broadway hit Jersey Boys. At this time, Dan was hired to perform with Bette Midler at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace. He currently maintains both shows, playing Jersey Boys when Bette Midler is dark.

T.V. credits include Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Michael Parkinson Show on BBC, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View, The Today Show, and Good Morning America. Dan has also performed and recorded with many artists including Alicia Keys, Patti Austin, Vince Gill, Barry Manilow. And Gino Vannelli.

His pride and joy is playing with Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns. The band has become a fixture in the Las Vegas music scene, attracting world class musicians to sit in whenever they pass through town. Just a few of the incredible artists that have graced Santa Fes stage are Kenny Loggins, Michael Ruff, Rocco Prestia and members of TOP, Bill Champlain of Chicago (with whom the Fat City Horns appear on his latest album), Brandon Fields, Tom Scott, members of Earth, Wind and Fire, Will Lee and Brian Bromberg. They can be heard at the Palms Hotel and Casino every Monday night.
